About the notes and questions

• The topics, section numbers and learning outcomes follow the syllabus in the Learning Partner guide v2.2 (specification date June 2025). Older IG1 and IG2 material is not used.
• Where the notes explain a topic in more detail than the syllabus does, the explanation is the site's own summary of generally accepted health and safety practice. Check it against your Learning Partner's course materials and the standards the syllabus names.
• Third party statements about the IGC (for example from training provider websites) were treated as unverified, and anything that conflicted with NEBOSH's own documents was left out.
• The practice questions, scenario practice and the worked risk assessment example were written for this site. They are not NEBOSH papers or mark schemes.
• This site is independent and is not part of NEBOSH.
