Worth mentioning in your message

Which tool, what you were trying to do, and what happened instead. If you know the size of the file and roughly how many pages it had, that helps, most failures are about size or an unusual way the file was made. The browser and device you used matter too, because the same job can behave differently on a phone and a laptop.

Please do not attach the file itself. We built this site so that your documents never reach us, and we would rather keep it that way. A description of the problem is enough.

Asking for a tool that does not exist yet is welcome too. What people ask for decides what gets built next.

Before you write, three quick checks

First, try again in a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, because an old browser is the most common reason a tool does nothing. Second, reload the page and try a smaller version of the same job, for example the first few pages of a large PDF. Third, if you are on a phone, try a computer, since a phone has far less memory to work with and video and large PDFs are the first things to run out of it.

If the same file fails every time and works in another program, that is exactly what we want to hear about.
